IP Masking

IP Masking is a cybersecurity technique that conceals a user's real IP address by routing internet traffic through an intermediary server. It enhances privacy, security, and anonymity by preventing websites, advertisers, and malicious actors from tracking online activity. IP masking is commonly used in virtual private networks (VPNs), proxy servers, and anonymity tools like Tor.

How IP Masking Works:
IP masking replaces a user’s actual IP address with a different one, making it difficult to trace their online activity. Key methods include:

Virtual Private Networks (VPNs): Encrypt internet traffic and route it through secure servers in different locations.
Proxy Servers: Act as intermediaries that relay requests while hiding the user’s identity.
Tor Network (Onion Routing): Uses a decentralized network to anonymize traffic and prevent tracking.
Cloud & Enterprise Security Solutions: Mask IP addresses to protect corporate networks from cyber threats.

By using these techniques, users can browse the internet securely and bypass geographic restrictions.
